Solution Consultant Lead

About the role

DualEntry is seeking a foundational Solutions Consultant Lead to build and manage our pre-sales technical function. This role is central to our sales process, requiring a blend of deep accounting knowledge and technical acumen to demonstrate how our AI-native ERP solves complex financial challenges for businesses.

What you'll do

• Establish and grow the Solutions Consulting team to a high standard.
• Lead client discussions, translating intricate financial operations into clear product benefits.
• Deliver customized product demonstrations that align with prospect workflows and objectives.
• Manage technical discovery phases, addressing concerns related to integrations, data migration, security, and future product capabilities.
• Develop proof-of-concept environments and tailored demos for various industry sectors.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to inform the product roadmap based on customer feedback.
• Create standardized demo materials, best practices, and technical documentation to support team scaling and training.

Requirements

• Proven ability to work with high autonomy and a strong work ethic.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and operations, gained through audit, public accounting, or in-house finance roles at growth-oriented companies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end accounting processes, including month-end close, journal entries, approvals, reconciliations, multi-entity accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
• Expertise in at least one specialized accounting area such as revenue recognition, inventory management, foreign exchange, leases, or consolidations.
• Familiarity with the typical financial technology stack, including ERP, billing, payroll, banking, AP/AR, FP&A, and BI tools, and the ability to map workflows between them.
• Comfort discussing technical subjects like integrations, APIs, data import/migration, security protocols, and system architecture.
• Skill in presenting to both financial executives and technical teams, along with experience in developing scalable sales engineering processes and guides.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Direct experience with migrations from systems like NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Knowledge of data transformation, ETL processes, data modeling, and SQL.
• Experience designing API integrations or working with middleware platforms.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring teams focused on solutions or implementations.
