What you'll do
- Formulate and articulate policy positions that will guide the classification of content across various verticals.
- Develop comprehensive policies to ensure clarity and consistency in content classification.
- Provide training to labeling teams on product policies, ensuring they understand and can effectively communicate these concepts.
- Engage with internal teams to clarify policy positions and assist with client inquiries and requests regarding classification.
- Conduct research to gauge public opinion and advertiser perspectives, using these insights to inform and refine policy development.
- Prioritize ongoing policy enhancements based on feedback from a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring that policies remain relevant and effective.
- Collaborate with linguists and data scientists to create and refine classification models that meet the company's standards for accuracy and reliability.
- Monitor trends in web and social media content to inform policy adjustments and ensure alignment with current practices.
- Prepare reports and documentation to support policy decisions and provide transparency to stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align policy initiatives with broader company goals and objectives.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience within the technology sector, particularly in roles related to policy or content management.
- Exceptional writing and analytical skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proven experience in analyzing datasets to derive actionable insights and recommendations.
- A strong interest in operational processes related to policy or technology environments.
- Familiarity with current trends in web and social media content, with an understanding of their implications for policy.
- A passion for policy issues, particularly in the realm of content classification and moderation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders, fostering a cooperative environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

- This position is based in the NYC Global Headquarters, and candidates must be able to work on-site.
- The starting salary for this role will be determined based on various factors, including qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The estimated salary range for this position is between $109,000 and $178,000, with additional eligibility for bonuses, equity, and benefits.
