Key Projects
Sales & Inventory Analysis — C&S Wholesale Grocers (Supply Chain BI)
C&S serves approx. 3,900 stores from 50+ locations across 11 US states. A Supply Chain Management transactional application handling order entry, order processing, delivery date computation based on supply & demand, and order releasing from warehouse to customer. Gathered and analyzed business and customer requirements through stakeholder meetings with users, business analysts, and team members. Designed and implemented ETL processes using SSIS packages with heterogeneous data sources and performed complex data transformations.
Generated and consolidated monthly reports and budget analysis to drive forecast production planning using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Developed custom reports and distributed them in multiple formats using MS Reporting Services 2008 (SSRS) — including tabular, matrix, drill-down, and chart reports. Extracted data from .txt flat files and imported into SQL Server monthly using the Import/Export Wizard; validated data accuracy against Power BI Desktop using MySQL queries.
Resolved problem/incident tickets based on priority, collaborating with end users for timely resolution; prepared release packages for production deployment. Scheduled automatic data refresh in Power BI Service; installed and configured both Enterprise Gateway and Personal Gateway. Created Bookmark Panes for view-detail actions on Text/Matrix tables; published reports to Power BI Server and provisioned access to required users.
Denial Cost Management Dashboard — Yale New Haven Hospital (Healthcare BI)
Yale New Haven Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in the USA (Connecticut) and the primary teaching hospital for Yale School of Medicine. The project focuses on insurance payer reimbursement denial tracking — identifying partial/no-payment patterns and forecasting denied payments over time to support denial cost management. Engaged with business users to gather requirements, drove daily client calls, and translated end-user needs into efficient Power BI dashboards for denial cost management. Imported data from multiple sources into Power BI reports and dashboards; developed and maintained content packs for large-volume data reporting.
