About the role
This position involves building the foundational processes for DoorDash's expansion into new product categories. You will manage the entire onboarding process for merchants, from contract signing to their initial month of operation, ensuring rapid and high-quality launches. This is a quota-driven role focused on developing and refining implementation strategies.

Location: Chicago, IL (primarily remote with office option)
Engagement: Full-time
Base Salary Range: $25.60 - $37.60 USD per hour
On-Target Earnings (Base + Commission): $32 - $47 USD per hour
What you'll do
- Manage a portfolio of 65-80 merchants from contract execution through their first 28 days of live service.
- Engage proactively with merchants to accelerate their activation timeline.
- Achieve quarterly performance targets related to activation speed and quality.
- Develop and iterate on implementation procedures, identifying effective methods and discarding inefficient ones.
- Pinpoint process inefficiencies and propose solutions as the new vertical evolves.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues that hinder merchant onboarding.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in Implementation, Customer Success, or Account Management.
- Demonstrated success in roles with quota or attainment-based goals.
- Comfortable with outbound communication and managing a high volume of calls.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, thriving in ambiguous environments.
- Strong organizational skills to manage a large and dynamic client portfolio.
- A preference for action and iterative testing over waiting for fully defined processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, particularly over the phone.

- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems, Open API, or SFTP integrations.
