Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design search and discovery features.
- Manage architectural decisions for the search stack and define the technical roadmap.
- Adjust ranking algorithms, indexing pipelines, and query logic to boost patient conversion.
- Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and participate in technical discussions.
- Lead the implementation of high-impact features from initial design through to deployment.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java.
- Solid grasp of distributed systems, web technologies, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Commitment to high code quality and rigorous testing standards.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on user-centric product development.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
- Experience with React or TypeScript.
- Interest in search relevance, ranking, personalization, and performance tuning.
