What you'll do

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design search and discovery features.
• Manage architectural decisions for the search stack and define the technical roadmap.
• Adjust ranking algorithms, indexing pipelines, and query logic to boost patient conversion.
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and participate in technical discussions.
• Lead the implementation of high-impact features from initial design through to deployment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Solid grasp of distributed systems, web technologies, and the full software development lifecycle.
• Commitment to high code quality and rigorous testing standards.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on user-centric product development.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
• Experience with React or TypeScript.
• Interest in search relevance, ranking, personalization, and performance tuning.
