What you'll do

• Collaborate with Docker's channel partners to provide technical support and co-selling efforts across India.
• Conduct workshops, training, and solution briefings for partners to enhance their technical capabilities.
• Assist partner-led sales opportunities with architectural guidance, proof-of-concept support, and competitive insights.
• Create and maintain technical assets for partners, including demo environments and reference architectures.
• Build relationships with key system integrators, IT services firms, and resellers in India.
• Support the development of sales pipelines for both direct and partner-sourced opportunities.
• Establish Docker's technical presence within India's developer and DevSecOps communities in major tech hubs.
• Speak at industry and partner conferences, including events focused on DevSecOps, cloud-native, and AI.
• Create technical content like blog posts and how-to guides to supplement Docker documentation for the Indian developer community.
• Represent Docker at meetups, developer days, and hackathons to increase brand awareness.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security, and AI teams at strategic accounts.
• Understand requirements related to AI governance, software supply chain security, and regulatory compliance in India.
• Design and execute structured proof-of-concepts with clear success criteria and value summaries.
• Influence purchasing decisions through demonstrations, workshops, and technical executive briefings.
• Translate Docker's AI security and governance features into business value for technical leaders.
• Maintain relationships with technical champions at key accounts to support renewals and expansions.
• Position and demonstrate Docker's AI portfolio as a governance and security layer for AI development.
• Guide customers in implementing AI governance controls, focusing on securing agentic development environments.
• Act as a subject matter expert on secure software supply chain, container security, and AI security trends.
• Provide architectural guidance for policy-as-code, identity and access governance for AI workloads, and SBOM visibility.
• Develop reusable technical assets to scale impact across channels and direct accounts.
• Advocate for Indian customer and partner needs by providing structured feedback to Product and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solution Architect, or Developer Advocate in a technical sales or community-facing role.
• Familiarity with AI security, AI governance frameworks, or secure software supply chain practices.
• Strong understanding of containers, DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern application architectures.
• Comfortable engaging with both enterprise customers and developer communities.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for technical and business audiences.
• Experience with partner or channel selling, co-selling with resellers, SIs, or distributors, or running partner enablement programs.
• Familiarity with India's enterprise technology landscape, including IT services companies and large SIs.
• Willingness to travel domestically across India and occasionally to Southeast Asia (primarily Singapore).

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, container ecosystems, or related technologies.
• Public speaking, developer advocacy, conference presenting, or technical content creation experience.
• Familiarity with agentic AI development, MCP tooling, or AI governance frameworks.
• Experience running competitive proof-of-concepts with clear success and exit criteria.
• Understanding of India-specific compliance requirements, including DPDP Act, CERT-In, RBI, and MeitY.
• Familiarity with India's IT services and SI ecosystem.
