About the role
Directive is seeking a Senior Paid Social Strategist to manage B2B client accounts. This role involves developing and executing paid social strategies, primarily on LinkedIn, for technology, industrial, and services sector clients. You will work with clients and internal teams to ensure successful campaign delivery and client satisfaction.

What you'll do
- Lead and oversee multiple social media accounts for clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client communications.
- Coordinate weekly with vendors and partners to align on tasks, quality, and improvements.
- Develop quarterly strategies for client accounts.
- Create, manage, and optimize paid media campaign budgets.
- Understand client positioning and unique value propositions in depth.
- Verify accurate lead routing within CRM systems.
- Manage personal productivity and utilization rates.
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to achieve internal and client objectives.
- Understand the value and application of programmatic campaigns.
- Identify and pursue cross-sell, upsell, and referral opportunities through client relationships.
- Implement and optimize LinkedIn advertising campaigns, including ad copywriting, target audience development, and targeting.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a performance or digital marketing agency, with hands-on B2B client support.
- Extensive experience with paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads.
- Familiarity with various LinkedIn Ad Units, such as conversation ads, document ads, and CTV.
- Proficiency in advertising platforms and tools including LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, and 6Sense.
- Strong grasp of paid media principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel to inform decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive and measure results via North Star Metrics (NSMs).
- Experience with audience segmentation by tier and job title.
- Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
- Skill in translating strategy and presenting data-driven narratives.
- A problem-solving mindset, balancing competitiveness with curiosity.
- A commitment to staying current with industry trends and sharing knowledge.
- Capacity to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strong focus on quality in advertising work.
- Willingness to travel to client sites approximately once per year, per client, or as needed.
