About the role
We are seeking a creative and driven designer to develop impactful visual assets for performance-driven advertising campaigns. You will bring campaign concepts to life across various digital platforms, producing visuals designed to capture attention and achieve client business goals. This role offers a chance to experiment, learn, and directly influence marketing outcomes in a dynamic agency setting.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Create engaging design elements for advertisements and landing pages, informed by data to enhance key digital marketing performance indicators.
- Produce short-form video content and motion graphics tailored for social media advertising on platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, and YouTube.
- Adapt existing video materials into effective ad units, ensuring they meet platform-specific requirements for size, aspect ratio, and viewer engagement.
- Work with media and content teams to ensure motion creative aligns with audience understanding and campaign objectives.
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual and motion assets, while creatively adjusting for different audiences and platforms.
- Collaborate with internal and client teams to understand business objectives, target demographics, and data points for data-driven design and A/B testing.
- Implement and manage A/B tests and other experiments using conversion rate optimization tools such as Optimizely, Unbounce, or Crazyegg.
- Analyze user behavior through research, usability testing, and heat mapping to inform design choices.
- Continuously refine designs based on feedback, data analysis, and testing results.
- Manage multiple design projects concurrently, providing status updates, incorporating feedback, and ensuring project requirements are met.
- Stay informed about current industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in conversion rate optimization and user experience design.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on performance marketing creative and conversion rate optimization.
- 1 year of experience creating motion graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign.
- Basic experience with video editing and motion graphics using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a capacity to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Understanding and application of performance marketing concepts such as A/B testing, conversion rate analytics, and heat mapping, with experience designing for performance campaigns.
- A proactive approach to learning about industry advancements, including the application of AI and automation in marketing.

Practical notes
- This is a remote position based in Canada.
- The annual base salary range is $70,000 - $95,000 CAD.
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, with a 100% employer-paid plan for the employee and a 50% contribution for dependents.
