IT Intern (Remote MEX) at directive
About the role
This is a part-time role, dedicating 4 hours daily to supporting our IT department. It's a fantastic chance to gain practical experience in IT support, security, asset management, and the processes involved in bringing new employees on board and offboarding departing ones. We seek a tech-proficient, organized individual eager to learn and contribute to our IT operations.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Help manage user accounts for platforms like Google Workspace, Krisp, Zoom, Slack, and LastPass, including adding and removing individuals.
- Assist in tracking hardware and software assets, maintaining accurate records of IT equipment and licenses.
- Address IT support requests, such as password resets, software installations, and managing Slack channel access.
- Help document IT procedures and update our internal knowledge base on Notion.
- Provide general administrative support to the IT team, including preparing shipping labels for equipment.
Requirements
- Currently studying for or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Possess a foundational understanding of IT systems and common tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
- Demonstrate strong organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Be capable of prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively.
- Exhibit clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have established and current work authorization and permanently reside in Mexico.

- Prior exposure to ticketing systems or knowledge base platforms like Notion.

Practical notes
