AI Engineer

About the role

Diligente Technologies is seeking an engineer to build and deploy production-ready AI applications. You will focus on creating tools that improve business productivity and the internal employee experience.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain cloud services and microservices for production environments.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Manage automation and tooling tasks using scripting languages.
• Oversee the deployment of software using CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.
• Build user-facing applications that integrate generative AI features.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional programming experience using C++, Go, C#, Java, TypeScript, or Python.
• 7+ years of experience writing scripts in Python or Bash.
• Demonstrated ability to design and build production-grade applications.
• Experience working within cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and container-based deployment.
• Proficiency in backend and frontend frameworks including FastAPI, Kestrel, gRPC, Next, and React.

Nice to have

• Experience with data engineering and machine learning platforms like Ray, Kafka, or Spark.
• Background in shipping AI, ML, or LLM applications at scale.
• Familiarity with GenAI frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph, ChatGPT API, and Glean API.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT Codex, or Claude.
