Software Engineer (Sell Core)

About the role

Dialpad is seeking a full stack engineer to join our Sell Core team in Buenos Aires. You will take ownership of features for our web and desktop-native applications while working closely with our North America-based Engineering Director.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy features for web and desktop-native platforms.
• Write modular code and manage unit and integration testing.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards for scalability.
• Meet project deadlines while ensuring product quality.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to address system issues.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement shared components.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional full stack engineering experience.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record of designing and launching at least two large-scale production systems.
• Experience with Agile development workflows.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.

Skills & tools

• Languages and frameworks: Python, Java, Vue, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, GraphQL.
• Infrastructure: GCP or other cloud platforms.
• Architecture: Serverless computing, microservices, event-driven systems.
• Databases: SQL and NoSQL.
