Sr. Salesforce Developer

About the role

You will lead the development of custom Salesforce solutions to support our internal business operations. This role focuses on enhancing Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Agentforce to drive automation and AI-powered workflows. You will report to the Sr. Director of Business Applications and work from our Bengaluru office.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage the full development lifecycle from design and coding to testing and deployment.
• Build and customize solutions within Sales Cloud and CPQ to manage lead-to-cash processes.
• Create AI-driven workflows and copilots using Agentforce in collaboration with our AI and Business Technology teams.
• Translate business requirements into secure, performant technical architecture.
• Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems across our go-to-market stack.
• Establish and maintain development standards, including CI/CD patterns and branching strategies.
• Mentor junior team members through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Mandatory expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ.
• Proven experience building Agentforce solutions and automated workflows.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications.
• Proficiency in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and Visualforce.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs, including REST, SOAP, and Bulk.
• Familiarity with Salesforce DX, VS Code, Git, and CI/CD tools like Copado or Gearset.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code.

Nice to have

• Certifications in CPQ or Agentforce Specialist.
