ML Research Engineer at Dexian.
About the role
Dexian is seeking an engineer to develop data pipelines specifically for open-source multimodal models. This is a 6-month remote engagement focused on advancing computer vision capabilities.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Architect and maintain data pipelines to support open-source multimodal model development.
- Conduct research and implementation within the computer vision domain.
Requirements
- Proficiency in PyTorch.
- Proven experience in video or image LLM research.
- Professional background spanning both academic and industry environments.
- Preference is given to candidates with a background as an ML Research Engineer, followed by ML Infra Engineer, AI Engineer, or Backend Engineer.
- Preference is given to research focus in the order of: Video LLM, Image LLM, then Text LLM.
Nice to have
- Authorship of papers published at major computer vision conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, or IJCV.
- A combination of academic and industry experience is prioritized over singular experience in either field.
