Q-Commerce Director Poland

About the role

You will oversee the Q-Commerce division for Glovo in Poland, maintaining our market position through strategic planning and operational execution. This role involves managing P&L, driving growth across retail verticals, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality service to Polish customers.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute the Q-Commerce strategy to drive category growth, profitability, and customer experience.
• Manage full P&L responsibilities, ensuring financial discipline while pursuing expansion goals.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional development.
• Negotiate and secure partnerships with retailers and suppliers to optimize assortment, pricing, and margins.
• Integrate Retail Media as a primary revenue stream by collaborating with local and global brands.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Product, Finance, and HQ teams to align on roadmap priorities.
• Advise the General Manager and senior leadership on strategic business decisions.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in fast-paced environments like startups, scale-ups, or digital corporations.
• Previous experience as a member of a Country leadership team.
• Demonstrated success in managing and scaling P&L to achieve sustainable revenue.
• Proven ability to lead and close complex commercial negotiations.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience in building business plans and executing strategy.
• Fluency in both English and Polish.
