About the role
This position involves steering strategic initiatives and extracting actionable intelligence to support the talabat business unit. You will partner with senior leadership to oversee financial planning, operational performance, and the execution of new product launches.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Monitor talabat performance metrics to spot trends, irregularities, and growth potential.
- Produce detailed reports for executive leadership that explain performance drivers and offer clear recommendations.
- Translate complex datasets into plain language for organizational decision-making.
- Conduct market-specific investigations to uncover profitability and turnaround opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve cross-functional operational challenges.
- Formulate and propose strategies to meet company performance targets.
- Build business cases for new product launches and oversee their implementation.
- Partner with local teams to build annual budgets and define profitability objectives.
- Track budget adherence and identify methods to surpass financial goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree from a recognized institution in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in management consulting, e-commerce, or food delivery.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, P&L analysis, budgeting, and business impact assessment.
- Ability to structure complex problems and convert findings into concrete actions.
- Proven history of managing stakeholders and professional relationships within the food tech sector.
- High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint or Google Sheets and Slides.
Nice to have
- MBA degree.
- Background in subscription-based business models.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
