About the role

Delivery Hero is seeking a legal professional to join the team in Salmiya to manage corporate, commercial, and regulatory legal affairs. You will provide guidance to business units, oversee litigation, and ensure the company remains compliant with local Kuwaiti regulations.

What you'll do

• Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of agreements including vendor, supplier, employment, leasing, and intellectual property contracts.
• Advise management on legal risks and provide formal opinions on commercial and legislative matters.
• Manage external law firms during litigation and investigations, ensuring they have the necessary documentation and evidence.
• Coordinate with government relations and public affairs teams to handle police reports and regulatory inquiries.
• Monitor local regulatory changes, assess their impact on company operations, and create compliance checklists for new projects.
• Represent the company in interactions with regulatory authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in law.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in a legal capacity, ideally within a tech company, e-commerce business, or international law firm.
• At least 2 years of direct experience working with Kuwaiti laws and regulations.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Ability to manage complex projects, negotiate effectively, and solve problems under pressure.
