Head, Controlling

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Controlling to manage financial operations for our foodora, foodpanda, and Yemeksepeti brands. You will lead a regional team focused on SG&A oversight, Free Cash Flow reporting, and technical consolidation to support our executive leadership.

What you'll do

• Direct the end-to-end management of personnel and non-personnel expenses across our brands.
• Supervise and mentor two direct reports: the Senior Manager for SG&A and the Consolidation/FCF specialist.
• Manage technical financial consolidation in alignment with Group guidelines and design heatmaps for management reporting.
• Lead Free Cash Flow reporting and create automated dashboards for local and regional stakeholders.
• Partner with Regional Finance, Country Leaders, and People & Culture teams to align headcount and personnel costs with growth goals.
• Enforce financial policies regarding FTE tracking and intercompany invoicing.
• Develop complex financial models to provide actionable insights for executive decision-making.
• Replace manual processes with scalable, automated reporting infrastructure.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in FP&A or Controlling.
• Proven track record of leading and managing teams.
• Background in high-growth sectors such as e-commerce, logistics, or technology.
• Ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear narratives for senior management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience acting as a business partner across diverse functions.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with OneStream or Anaplan.
• Specialized background in SG&A controlling, financial consolidation, or FCF reporting.
• Interest in applying AI to automate and improve financial processes.
