Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Kotlin/Java/React) at Delivery Hero.
About the role
Join our Fintech team to develop global payment, wallet, and anti-fraud systems. You will manage the core payment engine that supports our operations across more than 70 countries.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Architect and maintain scalable software for a global business environment.
- Manage backend and frontend development using Java, Kotlin, and React.
- Take full ownership of services from development through to deployment and infrastructure automation.
- Apply Domain-Driven Design, SOLID principles, and design patterns to ensure code quality.
- Implement secure coding practices to maintain system resilience.
- Mentor team members and contribute to the overall engineering culture.
Requirements
- Proven background in building software systems for complex, global-scale domains.
- Extensive backend experience with a focus on distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JUnit.
- Practical experience with TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL.
- Ownership mindset with a focus on CI/CD, automation, and system reliability.
