About the role

You will manage the implementation and optimization of SAP FICO solutions to improve our financial reporting and internal processes. This role focuses on translating business needs into functional configurations while maintaining the integrity of our financial systems.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Translate finance and controlling business requirements into functional specifications.
• Advise stakeholders on SAP FICO best practices and system capabilities.
• Configure SAP modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and WBS elements.
• Manage system testing, including scenario creation and end-to-end validation.
• Create training documentation and lead sessions for end-users.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for live SAP FICO modules.
• Coordinate with other teams to integrate SAP FICO with third-party tools or additional SAP modules.
• Assist with project planning and estimation tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP FICO.
• Deep knowledge of SAP FICO configuration, customization, and integration.
• Solid grasp of financial accounting and controlling principles.
• Ability to perform business process analysis and requirements gathering.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex technical issues.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple project tasks.

Nice to have

• Relevant SAP FICO certifications.
• Experience with banking integration and Host to Host connections.
• Knowledge of BCM (Bank Communication Management) and APM (Advanced Payment Management).
• Understanding of Contract Accounting modules.
