About the role

Join our Q-commerce division to help expand our grocery, retail, and micro-fulfillment offerings in Uganda. You will manage product assortments and pricing strategies to ensure our customers receive their orders with maximum speed and efficiency.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Negotiate with suppliers to maintain healthy profit margins and consistent stock availability.
• Define and refine our product assortment strategy.
• Organize and categorize our digital shelves to improve the customer shopping experience.
• Execute and monitor processes to ensure our content strategy is applied correctly.
• Manage promotional campaigns and identify opportunities for cross-selling products.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in FMCG, retail, or on-demand services, specifically in category management, trade marketing, or purchasing.
• Solid understanding of retail business operations and category management fundamentals.
• Strong analytical ability to solve problems using data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build professional networks and influence strategy.
• Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
• Fluency in English.

• Prior experience in the e-commerce sector.
