About the role

Join our team in Budapest to manage the verification of corporate clients, ensuring our platform remains compliant with international regulations. You will protect the company by vetting business entities, analyzing ownership structures, and identifying potential financial risks.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Analyze company registration papers, director information, and shareholder data to confirm business legitimacy.
• Screen entities against sanctions lists, Politically Exposed Person databases, and adverse media reports.
• Conduct risk-based assessments to determine the profile of merchants and partners.
• Manage onboarding and periodic review workflows while meeting strict service level agreements.
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM and case management systems for audit purposes.
• Escalate high-risk findings or suspicious activities to senior compliance staff.
• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence on complex or high-risk business accounts.
• Adhere to internal standard operating procedures and evolving regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

• Professional fluency in both English and Czech, covering written and spoken communication.
• Strong investigative skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Ability to navigate multiple software systems simultaneously.
• Critical thinking capabilities to assess financial and operational risks.
• Experience in documenting findings clearly and concisely.

Nice to have

• Prior professional background in AML, KYC, or KYB regulatory environments.
