Accountant - instashop

About the role

You will oversee incoming payments and manage the financial record-keeping for the instashop marketplace. This position focuses on maintaining healthy cash flow through diligent invoice management, account reconciliation, and regular financial reporting.

What you'll do

• Compile and finalize online sales reports, incorporating manual adjustments, discounts, bank fees, and commissions.
• Produce weekly statements detailing amounts owed to partners in UAE and EGP to facilitate precise and prompt transfers.
• Develop monthly aging and receivables reports to provide financial visibility to management.
• Balance accounts payable and receivable against partner records to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct monthly commission calculations to monitor revenue streams.
• Distribute monthly tips to partners, MFC pickers, and outsourced pickers for both UAE and EGP markets.
• Provide accounting support to key partners to resolve inquiries and foster professional relationships.
• Aid in broader finance operations, including ERP system tasks, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounts receivable or comparable financial functions.
• Solid grasp of general accounting standards and accounts receivable workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail and clear communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting platforms such as SAP or QuickBooks.
