About the role
This role involves translating company-wide initiatives into impactful campaigns for the UK and Ireland market. You will manage the promotional calendar and shape the value strategy for both customers and merchants in the region. This position requires a hybrid work model, with three days per week spent in the London office.

What you'll do
- Oversee all local promotions and merchant offers for UKI, identifying market and partner needs, then developing and executing strategies to meet them.
- Manage the team's reporting cycle, providing weekly and monthly performance analysis and campaign insights, and identifying trends for ongoing improvement.
- Advocate for customer and partner perspectives in promotional planning, collaborating with commercial, finance, and partner-facing teams.
- Work with Insights and Data Science teams to understand customer needs and define necessary research.
- Adapt global strategies for the UKI market, incorporating regional priorities and merchant requirements into business plans.
- Create and implement promotional strategies to achieve objectives and KPIs, ensuring excellent execution and managing trade-offs based on importance and impact.
- Coordinate promotional plans across central and local marketing teams to establish the correct technical, reporting, and targeting foundations.
- Play a key role in defining the UKI customer and merchant promotional strategy, driving high-value discount and offer initiatives to boost local engagement, ROI, and partner growth.
- Present strategic promotional programs to commercial stakeholders to secure their support and maximize partner involvement.
- Monitor competitor activities and trends to refine regional market strategies.
- Manage the go-to-market strategy and sell-in process for UKI promotions.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in a Marketing or Commercial role, with mandatory experience in value or promotional campaigns.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, especially for working with commercial teams.
- Experience presenting ideas and recommendations to senior leadership to gain support.
- Ability to analyze data to create insight-driven marketing strategies, comfortable with analytical tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for managing multiple cross-departmental stakeholders and communicating at all levels.
- Capable of adapting and managing several projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding improvement opportunities.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, complex organization with continuous change.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results quickly and efficiently.
