What you'll do

• Advise on complex commercial transactions, including SaaS contracts and multi-jurisdictional outsourcing deals.
• Collaborate with various departments like Tech, Marketing, People, Finance, and Supply Chain on strategic projects.
• Represent the legal perspective in steering committees, managing legal risks from initial concept to resolution.
• Prepare executive summaries that translate intricate legal risks into clear business insights.
• Provide training and guidance on evolving topics such as AI risk management, vendor compliance, and financial regulations.
• Champion legal best practices and enhance internal contracting processes for greater efficiency.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• Significant experience providing commercial and strategic legal advice to international businesses.
• Demonstrated expertise in technology procurement, AI vendor agreements, payment service provider contracts, and material outsourcings.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior leaders within a fast-paced global organization.
• Skill in distilling complex legal risks for diverse audiences and adapting communication styles.
• High commercial acumen and a drive to find creative, business-focused solutions in new legal areas.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with evolving regulatory frameworks, such as payment services regulations or AI compliance regimes.
• Prior in-house legal experience within a high-growth technology business or an internationally managed/US-owned corporate environment.
