Key facts

What you'll do

• Improve how developers discover, onboard to, and use DeepL APIs by building self-service flows and configuration interfaces.
• Create reusable platform components, contribute to documentation, and maintain client libraries (SDKs) and starter templates.
• Collaborate with various teams, including Enterprise, Core Text, Voice, and Customization, to ensure consistent API design.
• Write well-tested, production-ready code, contribute to monitoring and alerting, and participate in incident response.

Requirements

• Experience with backend development, RESTful APIs, and server-side systems using Go, Python, Java, C#, or similar.
• Ability to contribute to frontend tasks, such as developer dashboards or signup flows, using React/TypeScript.
• A mindset that prioritizes the developer's experience when designing APIs, focusing on clear abstractions and helpful error messages.
• Strong sense of ownership for delivered work, including writing tests, monitoring code in production, and learning from incidents.
