Deepgram is on a mission to enhance its presence in Southeast Asia, and we are seeking a talented Account Executive to spearhead our growth initiatives in this vibrant market. In this role, you will oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals and nurturing existing accounts. Your primary focus will be on both direct sales and collaborative selling with partners, providing a unique opportunity to influence our sales strategy in a fast-paced and evolving environment. You will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic accounts, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction through consistent relationship management. This position demands a proactive individual who can translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for decision-makers. You will be responsible for forecasting deal progress and maintaining accurate records in our CRM to ensure visibility for the entire revenue team. Furthermore, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to craft tailored solutions that address the specific needs of each customer segment. Your efforts will directly contribute to the expansion of our market share and the establishment of Deepgram as a preferred partner in the region.

What you'll do
Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to uncover customer pain points and map the buying committee for each target account.
Develop and execute tailored account plans that outline key stakeholders, business initiatives, and specific use cases for our voice AI platform.
Leverage a land-and-expand strategy to identify expansion opportunities within existing customer relationships, driving increased adoption across teams.
Collaborate with solutions engineers and technical partners to orchestrate live product demonstrations that highlight the power of real-time speech recognition.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline that quantifies opportunities, stages progression, and accurately forecasts revenue outcomes.
Partner with marketing to create targeted campaigns that resonate with developers, CTOs, and business leaders across Southeast Asian markets.
Champion the voice AI ecosystem by articulating the competitive advantages of Deepgram's APIs over alternative developer tools and infrastructure.
Manage the end-to-end deal cycle, from initial contact through negotiation, legal review, and final closure, ensuring a smooth customer journey.
Utilize advanced forecasting methodologies to provide transparent and reliable updates on the status of the sales pipeline to senior leadership.
Act as a cultural ambassador for the organization, embodying the values of adaptability, continuous learning, and an AI-first mindset in every interaction.
Engage with partner ecosystems and systems integrators to co-sell solutions that integrate Deepgram's technology into broader offerings.
Requirements
You possess a proven track record as a full-cycle Account Executive, with a history of consistently surpassing sales targets by building a robust pipeline and closing technical deals. Typically, this requires at least 5 years of experience in a quota-carrying role.
You have experience selling technically intricate products, such as APIs, developer tools, or platforms that require evaluation by engineers.
You have demonstrated success in sales across various Southeast Asian markets, effectively engaging both technical and business stakeholders.
You are proficient in both direct sales and partner/co-selling strategies, with a strong inclination towards collaborative selling.
You embrace a "land-and-expand" mindset, showcasing a history of growing accounts post-initial sale.
You possess exceptional communication and follow-up abilities, coupled with the discipline to adhere to a consistent sales process.
You maintain a solid employment history with clear career advancement.
You are fluent in Korean, both spoken and written, to effectively engage with Korean-speaking clients and partners.
You are authorized to work in Singapore and do not require sponsorship for an Employment Pass or similar work visa.
You have a proven history of exceeding quotas and managing complex B2B sales cycles in a SaaS or cloud environment.
Nice to have
Experience in selling voice AI, speech recognition technology, AI/ML solutions, developer tools, or infrastructure products.
Familiarity with co-selling through systems integrators or partnerships with hyperscalers.
Knowledge of contemporary sales methodologies, such as the Challenger Sales model.
Background in a high-growth or early-stage company environment, demonstrating adaptability and innovation.
