About the role
Decagon is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our EMEA Go-To-Market team. This position focuses on identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities for our advanced AI platform. You will engage in complex sales cycles, working with various stakeholders to expand our customer base.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Find new sales opportunities through inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting.
- Conduct multi-channel outreach via phone, email, and social media.
- Expand the sales funnel by running targeted account-based campaigns.
- Research companies, map buying committees, and identify both practitioners and executives.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop account strategies and generate high-quality enterprise pipeline.
- Work with Marketing to align messaging and campaign strategies.
- Stay informed on product capabilities, competitive positioning, and GenAI market trends.
- Develop sales skills including discovery, cold calling, objection handling, and articulating business value.
Requirements
- Strong interest in a customer-facing career.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Genuine curiosity about understanding customer business challenges.
- Commitment to tracking and improving daily performance and efficiency.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of urgency and ability to work in undefined processes.
Nice to have
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing or quota-carrying role.
- Prior CRM experience, ideally Salesforce.
- Stays updated on the latest AI trends.
- Experience with technology.
- Fluent in French, German, or Spanish in addition to English.
