About the role
Datarails is seeking an Account Executive to manage the entire sales process for its AI-powered finance platform. This role involves building customer relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring quarterly and annual sales targets are met. You will contribute to a growing startup in a fully remote capacity.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, within a dynamic startup setting.
- Collaborate with the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team to generate and close new revenue opportunities.
- Engage with finance professionals to understand their requirements and present tailored solutions and proposals.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in CRM systems and other sales tools.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an Account Executive selling complex B2B SaaS products, preferably to finance decision-makers (CFO, VP Finance, Controllers), or selling financial services.
- Alternatively, 3 or more years of experience in FP&A.
- Demonstrated history of exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong time management skills to handle a high volume of accounts and opportunities.
- Experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce, and other sales enablement tools.
- Ability to understand and articulate the technical and business needs of prospects, guiding them to appropriate solutions.
- Self-motivated and strategic individual capable of independent work, including outbound sales and structured selling.

- This is a 100% remote position within the United States.

- The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000 USD, with generous on-target earnings (OTE). Final offers depend on experience, value, and location.
