Senior Director, Growth Marketing - Organic Growth at Datadog.
About the role
We are looking for a strategic leader to spearhead our organic acquisition efforts across both traditional search engines and emerging AI and LLM platforms. You will define the vision and operating model for our organic growth, driving inbound pipeline and traffic through content, authority building, and AI discoverability.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Direct our content-led SEO and GEO strategy, identifying high-impact topics and formats to increase traffic and pipeline.
- Manage and mentor a team of organic growth specialists.
- Optimize our presence across LLM-ingested content platforms like Reddit, YouTube, and review sites to improve AI-driven discoverability.
- Execute off-page strategies, including digital PR, link acquisition, and authority-building campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Website Experience team to ensure content is performant and properly indexed.
- Produce flagship content and experimental formats to establish quality standards.
- Analyze market shifts in search and AI to identify new growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of leadership experience in SEO or growth marketing within high-growth tech or B2B environments.
- Demonstrated success in growing organic traffic and visibility through content-led strategies.
- Strong analytical capabilities and comfort working with large datasets to diagnose performance and quantify opportunities.
- Proficiency with enterprise SEO platforms such as Conductor and Profound.
- Deep understanding of the evolving search landscape.
Nice to have
- Experience marketing to technical audiences such as DevOps engineers, developers, IT operations, or security practitioners.
- SQL skills.

- Salary range: $213,750 - $285,000 USD per year.
