Sr. Staff, Technical Program Management

About the role

This position serves as a strategic technical leader within the Corporate Engineering division, focusing on the creation of an internal agentic application platform. You will manage a small team of 3 to 4 technical program managers to replace legacy third-party software with native, scalable tools built on the Databricks infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Lead the strategy and execution of an internal agentic AI platform to move the company away from third-party vendor reliance.
• Redesign the software development lifecycle by integrating generative AI and automation into operational workflows.
• Manage large-scale, cross-functional programs, including corporate security initiatives and enterprise platform migrations.
• Establish technical metrics and observability to track system ROI, platform adoption, and organizational value.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to a team of 3 to 4 technical program managers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical program management experience in hyper-growth SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or Tier-1 technology environments.
• Proven experience managing lean teams of high-performing technical program managers.
• Strong technical background with the ability to navigate discussions regarding distributed systems and large-scale data infrastructure.
• Demonstrated success in structural change management, specifically shifting from procurement-based models to internal product development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Ability to communicate with C-level and VP-level stakeholders to drive alignment on engineering trade-offs.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying LLMs, generative AI, or autonomous agent capabilities in production or enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with the Databricks ecosystem, including Unity Catalog, Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, or Mosaic AI.
• Experience transitioning internal enterprise tools into commercialized software assets.
