Specialist Solutions Architect at Databricks.
About the role
You will act as a technical advisor for enterprise clients, managing the architecture, security, and administration of their Databricks environments. This position involves collaborating with internal teams to design mission-critical workloads and support complex sales cycles.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the full lifecycle of platform administration, from initial design to production.
- Build secure, scalable architectures that meet enterprise standards for identity, networking, and compliance.
- Support technical sales by creating custom proof-of-concept architectures and documentation.
- Act as a subject matter expert in cloud infrastructure, identity management, or infrastructure-as-code.
- Contribute to the open-source community, host hackathons, and deliver technical tutorials to drive platform adoption.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud platform architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including security and networking.
- 2+ years of experience with distributed architectures and big data tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role like consulting or pre-sales.
- Specialized knowledge in one of the following: Security & Identity, Networking & Deployments, Platform Administration, or Infrastructure Automation.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language: Python, Java, or Scala.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet technical delivery milestones within 6 months.
Nice to have
- Databricks Certified Solutions Architect, Platform Administrator, or Data Engineer certifications.

- Infrastructure: Terraform (or similar IaC tools)
