You will serve as a primary technical advisor for customers, demonstrating how the Data Intelligence Platform addresses complex data challenges. This role involves partnering with account teams to develop engagement strategies and supporting the adoption of our architecture within the media industry.

What you'll do
- Partner with Account Executives to build and execute customer engagement strategies.
- Mentor junior team members on technical champion development and use case prioritization.
- Engage with C-level executives and stakeholders to promote the Databricks vision.
- Provide expert guidance on data analytics architecture, design, and platform adoption.
- Create technical content such as workshops, seminars, and collateral for the community.
- Pursue career growth in people management, technical specialization, industry leadership, or strategic vision.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles.
- Proven background in technical pre-sales and managing complex sales lifecycles.
- Ability to influence executive decision-makers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Coding proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.
- Willingness to develop base-level expertise in Spark.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms and executing proofs-of-concept.
- Ability to navigate competitive landscapes and provide tailored technical solutions.
- Availability to travel up to 30% of the time.
