About the role
This L6 position manages end-to-end commission operations with a focus on scalability, risk mitigation, and automation. You will oversee a large portfolio of payees, ensuring accurate and compliant compensation cycles while mentoring team members and collaborating with cross-functional partners.

What you'll do
- Manage the full lifecycle of sales compensation, including participant setup, plan distribution, calculation, and payroll submission.
- Ensure 100% accuracy and SOX compliance for payroll across assigned geographies.
- Identify payment risks and anomalies using predictive tools to prevent overpayments and manage exception committees.
- Validate data across systems like Xactly, SFDC, HRIS, and Anaplan to resolve issues regarding credits and quotas.
- Lead complex projects independently, creating repeatable workflows and inspection mechanisms.
- Influence stakeholders across Finance, Legal, HR, and Sales Operations to drive alignment on compensation policies.
- Advance the team automation roadmap by integrating AI for anomaly detection, evidence generation, and data validation.
- Provide mentorship to analysts and offshore resources to improve operational quality.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in sales compensation administration and commission system operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Xactly and Excel or Google Workspace.
- Deep understanding of SaaS go-to-market compensation structures, including OTI, quotas, SPIFFs, MBOs, and accelerators.
- Proven experience in program management, audit readiness, and cross-functional influence.
- Ability to maintain a 3 to 4 hour daily overlap with U.S. Pacific Time.
- Experience evaluating and prompting LLMs to improve operational workflows.
