About the role

This leadership position oversees the Solutions Architecture team dedicated to the Manufacturing and High Tech enterprise segments. You will guide a group of pre-sales professionals to drive customer adoption and revenue growth for the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

What you'll do

• Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing team of Solutions Architects.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to meet consumption and revenue objectives.
• Maintain a consistent hiring pipeline to support organizational growth.
• Provide technical guidance on complex architectures and proof-of-concept deployments.
• Ensure the team stays current with the latest developments in the data and AI technology stack.
• Foster productive working relationships with internal departments including Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Success.
• Manage team performance, including career development and improvement planning.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the Data and AI sector working with technical products like big data, machine learning, data science, or data warehousing.
• 3+ years of experience managing, coaching, and hiring technical pre-sales teams.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to technical executives regarding data infrastructure strategy.
• Demonstrated expertise in technical qualification, architecture reviews, and product demonstrations.
• Ability to influence and guide team members and customers toward scalable, effective solutions.
