Senior Manager, Emerging Enterprise

About the role

We are seeking a leader to guide our Emerging Enterprise sales team within the DACH region. You will define the go-to-market strategy and business planning required to meet our regional performance objectives while managing a team of account executives.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute revenue plans to surpass established sales quotas.
• Mentor account executives on articulating the Databricks value proposition to prospective customers.
• Oversee territory alignment and ensure team adherence to internal sales processes.
• Improve operational efficiency by guiding staff on pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and activity tracking.
• Provide direct leadership support for high-priority accounts.
• Collaborate with management on territory carving and quota distribution.
• Recruit and develop high-performing talent.
• Cultivate long-term professional relationships with partners, internal cross-functional teams, and employees.
• Calibrate performance expectations to maintain team motivation and results.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a first-line management role.
• Background in technology sales, specifically within the Data and AI sectors.
• Expertise in positioning software solutions to Data and IT executive leadership.
• Proficiency in sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, CoM, or Challenger.
• Business-level fluency in both English and German.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working within the Digital Native, Startup, or Emerging Enterprise sectors.
