Sr. Manager, Field Engineering (Specialist)

About the role

This leadership position oversees a team of Specialist Solutions Architects and managers focused on the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector within the Northeast United States. You will guide a technical pre-sales organization to drive platform adoption, revenue growth, and complex data and AI initiatives for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients.

What you'll do

• Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing group of individual contributors and frontline technical managers.
• Partner with Sales leadership to exceed regional consumption and revenue targets.
• Oversee the execution of technical proof-of-concepts and architecture validations for clinical, genomic, and operational use cases.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to technical executives regarding cloud infrastructure and AI roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Industry Solutions teams to remove technical obstacles and improve market reach.
• Ensure all platform deployments align with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and GxP.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing technical pre-sales teams, including oversight of senior individual contributors and team leads.
• 5+ years of experience working with complex data and AI platforms, specifically in distributed computing, MLOps, cloud data warehousing, or generative AI.
• Deep domain knowledge of Healthcare and Life Sciences, including familiarity with OMOP and FHIR data models.
• Proven ability to manage organizational growth, including hiring, onboarding, and career development.
• Strong operational skills in pipeline management, resource allocation, and cross-functional alignment.
