What you'll do

• Lead complex customer engagements by providing technical direction and guidance to implementation teams.
• Direct technical teams through architectural decision-making processes and evaluate trade-offs between various approaches.
• Identify and resolve technical risks and dependencies that threaten project timelines.
• Manage program scope, budget, resources, and schedules with a focus on technical requirements.
• Produce high-quality project plans, status reports, and technical responses.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for customers, facilitating rapid resolutions across internal teams.
• Communicate the Databricks vision to stakeholders and lead goal-oriented meetings.

Requirements

• Ability to make sound technical decisions and stay updated on industry trends without requiring hands-on coding.
• Experience managing large-scale, complex engagements and navigating the balance between scope, budget, and timeline.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills for audiences ranging from engineers to executives.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
