About the role
This role operates within the Forward Deployed Engineering team to manage complex technical projects for customers following the initial sale. You will act as the primary bridge between internal engineering, sales, and product groups to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage approximately five concurrent customer projects to ensure high satisfaction and successful delivery.
- Create detailed technical project plans, including milestones, objectives, and key results based on statements of work.
- Monitor weekly progress and proactively mitigate risks to keep projects on schedule.
- Lead meetings with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ranging from engineering standups to executive steering committees.
- Collaborate across Professional Services, Engineering, and Sales to adapt to shifting project requirements.
- Develop and implement operational processes to increase the efficiency of the Professional Services team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, specifically within B2B SaaS, cloud, or data analytics environments.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to engage in deep technical discussions with Solution Architects and Engineers.
- Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional technical programs using Agile or similar methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for audiences ranging from engineers to executives.
- Foundational understanding of the data and AI ecosystem, including data lakes, data warehousing, ETL, streaming, and machine learning.
Nice to have
- Certifications such as PMP or CSM.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark or Data Intelligence Platforms.
- Experience with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Previous background in customer-facing implementation roles such as Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Product Manager.
- Experience delivering programs focused on Generative AI or Machine Learning.

- Pay ranges by zone: Zone 1 ($156,000 - $214,500), Zone 2 ($140,400 - $193,050), Zone 3 ($132,600 - $182,400), Zone 4 ($124,800 - $171,600).
- Compensation includes potential annual performance bonus and equity.
