Manager, Finance Systems

About the role

dandy is seeking a Manager, Finance Systems to lead the development and enhancement of our financial technology infrastructure. This role will focus on optimizing our NetSuite environment and other critical financial platforms to support our growth. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency and scalability across our finance operations.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Establish and guide the vision for the finance systems team, defining roles and career development paths.
• Design, build, and refine processes and tools for NetSuite and other finance systems, setting standards for configuration, data, integrations, and reporting.
• Implement best practices for system setup, data accuracy, user access, security, testing, and deployment.
• Oversee and direct technical resources, including internal and external developers, for NetSuite SuiteScript, API integrations, and other technical needs.
• Promote data-informed decision-making within the finance department by maximizing system capabilities for reporting and analysis.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or project management role within finance systems, with a history of success in fast-paced environments.
• At least 5 years of experience with core finance systems, possessing deep knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Order Management, and Procurement.
• Substantial hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration and administration, including familiarity with SuiteScript and integrations.
• Strong technical understanding of system integrations, data flow, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing new finance systems or significantly scaling existing ones to accommodate business expansion.
• Ability to develop long-term strategies for finance systems and execute the necessary tactical steps.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with Accounting, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• A process-driven and detail-oriented approach to designing and implementing efficient finance workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience in rapidly growing, mid-sized companies.
• NetSuite Administrator certification.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing company.
• Familiarity with other systems supporting Procure-to-Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report processes.
• Experience managing both internal and external technical teams.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Looker or Hex.
