Founding GTM Business Development Representative

About the role

Join Dandy's initial German Business Development team to build our sales pipeline from the ground up. This position is central to establishing our go-to-market strategy in a rapidly expanding global company. You will play a key role in both attracting new clients and engaging with interested dental practices.

What you'll do

• Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective dental practices.
• Generate new business through various outbound methods, including email, phone calls, and creative outreach.
• Document sales activities using Salesforce and other tools, continuously refining your approach.
• Present Dandy's value proposition, address concerns, and guide prospects through the sales process.
• Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth transitions for new clients.
• Contribute ideas to develop the German BDR function, influencing processes, tools, and overall strategy.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of professional sales experience in a fast-growing company.
• Fluent in English and native-level German.
• Experience with cold calling, particularly targeting small to medium-sized businesses.
• A drive for continuous improvement and a willingness to learn new sales techniques through structured training.
• The ability to navigate unclear situations and quickly become productive.
• Familiarity with standard sales tools and an interest in exploring new tools to improve efficiency.
• A proven record of professional and academic achievement.

• Experience with marketplace business models.
• A consistently positive outlook and a good sense of humor.
• A history of significant accomplishments outside of work, demonstrating discipline and excellence (e.g., competitive sports, music, or major personal projects).
