About the role
Dakcs is seeking a Sales Account Executive to join its growing team in Ogden, Utah. This full-time position focuses on driving revenue growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts in the assigned territory. The Sales Account Executive will serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients, guiding them through the full range of product and service offerings. The role requires a motivated self-starter who can independently manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities and consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales targets. Success in this position depends on a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those needs into effective solutions.

What you'll do
- Develop and execute a territory-based sales strategy to achieve assigned revenue goals each quarter.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, cold outreach, and networking events.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and account expansion.
- Present product demonstrations and tailored solutions to prospective customers across multiple industries.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted outreach campaigns and sales collateral.
- Track all sales activities and pipeline data in the company's customer relationship management platform.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to close deals within established margins.

- Provide detailed feedback to the product team based on customer needs and market trends.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of solutions and smooth onboarding of new accounts.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review and forecasting purposes.
- Mentor junior sales representatives and contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Monitor competitor activity and market shifts to adjust sales tactics and maintain a competitive edge.
- Participate in pipeline review meetings with leadership to prioritize high-value opportunities and remove blockers.
- Contribute to the development of sales playbooks and best practices that improve team-wide performance.
Requirements
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B or enterprise sales environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Experience managing a full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel within the Ogden, Utah region and occasionally to nearby markets.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for results.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as SPIN or solution-based selling approaches.
- Competence with standard office software and basic proficiency in customer relationship management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple active accounts and competing priorities.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record for local client visits and territory travel.
