About the role
Customer.io is seeking a People Partner to join our growing People Experience team. This role will support our global workforce, focusing on enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee well-being in a dynamic environment. It's an ideal position for an experienced HR professional looking to significantly influence business outcomes.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with leaders to align organizational capabilities with business objectives and growth plans.
- Manage performance review cycles, including guidance on calibration and compensation decisions, and coach managers on talent development.
- Address employee relations matters with fairness and sound judgment to foster a positive work environment.
- Assist in assessing team structures and implementing improvements.
- Support organizational change initiatives and promote change readiness.
- Build relationships with managers to understand their needs and provide ongoing guidance.
- Analyze people data and metrics to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Support the rollout of employee engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employee growth and development programs.
- Actively participate in the People Experience team, enhancing HR capabilities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HRBP or People Partner capacity supporting diverse teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, change management, performance management, DEIB, culture building, coaching, development, and people programs.
- Strong proficiency in using people data and analytics to diagnose issues and drive decisions.
- Ability to understand business objectives and their impact on outcomes, using data to support strategic decisions.
- Experience partnering with leaders and influencing the people agenda.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with a global workforce.
- Skill in collaborating effectively with other People Team functions, including Recruiting, People Operations, and Total Rewards.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- A creative approach to problem-solving, avoiding one-size-fits-all solutions.
- A commitment to supporting employee well-being, DEIB, and engagement initiatives.
- Adaptability and a growth mindset for continuous learning.

Practical notes
- Compensation range: $100,000 - $130,000 USD, subject to market rate adjustments.
