This critical product leadership position focuses on the global trading engine. You will guide the complete product strategy for how fiat currency enters and leaves the platform, ensuring millions of clients can move money quickly and reliably. This role directly impacts total funds flow, acceptance rates, settlement speed, and transaction costs across all markets.

What you'll do
- Develop and enhance global payment infrastructure to ensure broad coverage and consistent uptime for fiat access.
- Choose and integrate payment rails based on required transaction speeds to support instant trading.
- Structure banking relationships to maintain continuous liquidity for user payouts and high-frequency trading settlements.
- Improve pay-in acceptance rates for credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers by optimizing processor relationships, fraud rules, and compliance.
- Lead commercial negotiations and technical integrations for direct bank partnerships, securing favorable terms and custom solutions.
- Design and manage the logic for a dynamic routing engine that selects the best payment rail in real time.
- Create compliant and scalable fiat payment solutions for institutional clients, including segregated accounts and high-value wire processing.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 or more years of product leadership experience, with at least 7 years specifically in payment infrastructure or core banking products.
- Proven ability to build and scale cross-border payment rails in high-volume, real-time settings.
- Experience with direct bank integrations, not just white-label payment service providers, and commercial partnership negotiation.
- History of leading payment orchestration and dynamic routing logic in live production environments.
- Experience developing fiat solutions for institutional clients, such as segregated accounts, wire processing, and bulk APIs.
- Background or significant exposure to trading, exchange, or fintech environments.
- Technical understanding of complex API products, data flows, and payment protocol integrations.
- Direct experience with core banking platforms or payment scheme integrations like SWIFT, SEPA, FPS, or ACH.
- Experience integrating with bank partners, payment service providers, and acquiring processors.
- Strong people management skills, including developing and maintaining high standards for your team.
- Excellent stakeholder management across engineering, legal, compliance, finance, and senior leadership.
