Key facts
What you'll do
- Work with internal teams to gather and analyze complex data for liquidity forecasts, guiding strategic project prioritization.
- Help build banking and investment systems for managing multi-billion-dollar projects.
- Create, maintain, and report on compliance with lender debt covenants.
- Monitor and improve procedures to protect company assets through strong internal controls.
- Provide analytical support for company-wide strategic initiatives, ensuring efficient capital deployment.
- Support investment strategy by researching funds and monitoring policy to optimize risk-adjusted returns across various parameters.
- Prepare and update reports and ad-hoc analyses for management using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Assist the Treasury cash management team with activities and projects, ensuring optimal global cash positioning and smooth execution of high-value transactions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, or Banking in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Highly advanced quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Expert-level Excel modeling skills, capable of building complex financial models from scratch.
- Strong understanding of financial theory (economics, capital structure, WACC, derivatives, portfolio management, company valuations) and its practical uses.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience in debt capital markets, strategic finance, investment management, and interest rate derivative/hedging activities.
- Working knowledge of foreign exchange markets and hedging mechanics.
- Proven ability to manage complex workstreams and achieve results through collaboration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to simplify complex topics into clear recommendations.
- Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks and deliver in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities; must be hands-on.
- Positive attitude and a solutions-focused approach.
Nice to have
- CFA Charterholder, or progress toward.
- MBA, Master of Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg modeling tools and API syntax.
