About the role

Crossing Hurdles is hiring a DevOps Engineer to manage and scale our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. You will focus on automating deployment workflows and maintaining high-performance Kubernetes environments to support our production systems.

What you'll do

• Architect and oversee scalable cloud infrastructure within GCP.
• Build automation for monitoring, management, and deployment tasks.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure uptime and operational efficiency.
• Partner with developers to improve CI/CD pipelines and internal workflows.
• Maintain security standards and compliance across all cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and remove performance bottlenecks.
• Create clear documentation to assist with team knowledge management.

Requirements

• Extensive practical experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven history of managing production-grade cloud infrastructure.
• Advanced skills in Kubernetes orchestration and administration.
• Deep knowledge of DevOps principles and standard industry practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience utilizing infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively in writing and speech.
