About the role
In the position of Software Engineer I, you will collaborate with fellow engineers to create solutions for both internal and external users. This team is dedicated to developing software that is reliable, secure, and consistently available by integrating backend services with reusable web components.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Apply design patterns to create high-quality, testable code that fulfills customer requirements.
- Develop solutions for data acquisition, cleansing, syndication, and other functionalities to enhance our Automotive Marketing Platform.
- Design, construct, deploy, and provide production support for cloud-native applications.
- Create and manage service-oriented architecture solutions, ensuring integration with complex databases and third-party components.
- Engage with your agile delivery team to foster a culture of trust, creativity, and enthusiasm.
- Gain knowledge in the automotive digital marketing sector to transform how vehicles are bought, sold, and utilized.
- Work alongside AI agents to build, test, and deploy software throughout the software development lifecycle, utilizing appropriate contextual inputs to enhance AI performance.
- Implement features and pipelines powered by AI within our software.
- Participate in prompt engineering experimentation and share insights on tool usage.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; alternatively, candidates with four years of experience in a related area will be considered.
- Experience in object-oriented design, including practical application of design patterns.
- Capability to work autonomously in designing, developing, and deploying solutions, delivering projects on schedule with moderate guidance.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with other developers in creating optimal solutions for customers.
- Proficiency in database development, including familiarity with database technologies and data modeling.
- Experience with agile development practices is preferred.

- Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $81,400.00 to $122,200.00, with potential additional incentives based on factors such as job location and the candidate's qualifications.
