Hospitality Coordinator

About the role

Convene Hospitality Group is seeking a coordinator to manage daily operations at our 1 Boston Place location. You will report to the General Manager and serve as a primary point of contact for guests, tenants, and internal departments. This position focuses on maintaining high service standards while overseeing the logistics of our meeting and event spaces.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Greet guests and manage the reception area, including VIP arrivals and lobby traffic.
• Oversee front-of-house tasks such as coat check, lost and found, and general desk organization.
• Coordinate event logistics including load-in, load-out, signage, and menu preparation.
• Assist with meeting setup, breakdown, and on-site support during busy periods.
• Collaborate with building management on maintenance, security, and facility repairs.
• Manage administrative duties including inventory, invoices, package handling, and scheduling temporary staff.
• Support site tours and facilitate special guest experiences.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Physical capability to lift, move, push, or pull up to 25 pounds without help.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching overhead.
• Flexibility to work long hours as required by event schedules.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
