About the role
Convene Hospitality Group is looking for a House Director to lead operations and cultural strategy at the NeueHouse Madison Square location in New York. This role serves as the primary executive leader for the property, overseeing financial performance, member experiences, and the integration of diverse hospitality services within this historic landmark.

What you'll do
- Direct multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-standard execution of events, member services, and daily operations.
- Manage the property Profit and Loss statement, tracking key performance indicators to ensure financial health and growth.
- Collaborate with commercial leadership to develop and execute sales strategies for membership, private workspace, and event bookings.
- Oversee food and beverage programs across multiple outlets, including the restaurant, cafe, and private dining spaces.
- Maintain physical brand standards and ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and liquor regulations.
- Cultivate a community-focused environment that supports creative professionals and innovators.
- Refine operational workflows and labor models to maximize efficiency across all departments.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of senior leadership experience in hospitality, event venue management, or membership-based businesses.
- Demonstrated success in meeting financial targets and driving revenue growth.
- Operational proficiency in food and beverage management, event logistics, and technical production.
- Strong financial literacy regarding budgeting, reporting, and KPI analysis.
- Ability to maintain an active presence on the floor and manage complex, fast-paced environments.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
