About the role
Constellation is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join the team at the Ginna Clean Energy Center. You will support the maintenance and implementation of IT security and network solutions while working under the direction of the Manager and Senior Cyber Security Analyst.

What you'll do
- Execute, document, and assist in planning small projects and process improvements.
- Support and maintain existing IT products to meet service level agreements.
- Analyze requirements to design, build, and test IT software solutions.
- Coordinate with business and IT partners to resolve issues.
- Provide on-call support outside of standard business hours.
- Mentor less experienced team members and pursue ongoing professional development.
- Identify industry trends to help solve business problems and improve operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2 to 5 years of experience, or a total of 6 to 9 years of combined education and relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux server and workstation operating systems, including command line usage.
- Experience with IP-based switching, routing, and Cisco network environments.
- Understanding of computer networking protocols and enterprise security methodologies.
- Experience with firewall operations, specifically Cisco and Checkpoint.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability to shifting business priorities and the ability to follow established procedures to resolve issues.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with security program elements such as policy development, disaster recovery, incident response, application security, and end-user training.
- Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk, Nitro, or Industrial Defender.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Security Plus training.

Practical notes
- Salary range: $91,800 to $102,000 per year, depending on experience.
