VP, Head of Engineering at Conga.
About the role
Conga is seeking a senior leader to direct engineering operations and AI initiatives within our India-based centers. You will oversee the quality engineering department, implementing strategies that integrate AI to improve software development and product reliability.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead the strategic direction and execution of AI initiatives within the Quality Engineering Center of Excellence.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team focused on AI-driven quality assurance.
- Define and implement a comprehensive AI strategy to improve engineering velocity and product quality.
- Establish governance, success metrics, and operating rhythms for responsible AI adoption.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to modernize test strategies and maintain quality guardrails.
- Translate innovation opportunities into actionable technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- 20+ years of total experience in the software industry.
- 15+ years of experience in an engineering leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success in transforming quality engineering teams through AI and automation.
- Proven ability to design and execute complex technical strategies.
- Deep understanding of the SaaS landscape and product development lifecycles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change.
Nice to have
- Experience with Revenue Lifecycle Management software, specifically CPQ and CLM platforms.
